Servants of the King Academy was founded by three families that were following a calling from God. They envisioned a school that would serve the educational needs of families while producing a quality education that was rooted in Christ. This would be a place where children would be taught in an environment where they could learn how to think and see the world through a biblical lens.

In seeing the great need for Christ-centered education in Clifton Park, Servants of the King Academy was born. The founders believed that the most beneficial path of learning was to go back to how the world learned before modern education: classical education. With an academic curriculum that was rooted in the word of God, students would be able to have greater depth of understanding. Instead of lessons running contrary to the will of the parents, lessons would be taught from a philosophy known as “in loco parentis,” where teachers operate under the temporary authority of the parents in regard to education.

Believing that a calling should be taken seriously and lead to action, Servants of the King Academy went from a dream to a reality. Pre-K lessons started in 2021 with a classical curriculum, and the school began its venture into the great task of educating young minds. The following year, the school became a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools (ACCS). With this partnership, there was access to more resources that were crucial for a startup school.

In 2023, the New York State Board of Regents approved a provisional charter for Servants of the King Academy, officially establishing the school as an educational organization with 501(c)(3) status.

As we navigate through 2024, we look forward to seeing what God will do. We are expecting growth in all areas. If you are interested in having your child receive their education from Servants of the King, please visit our Admission page.
